JYP Entertainment confirmed on August 19 that false information and malicious defamation targeting Stray Kids had circulated across domestic and international communities and social media platforms. The agency has already filed complaints, stating, "We have collected harmful posts and submitted legal documents. We will cooperate fully with investigative authorities to take strong civil and criminal actions."

No Leniency Promised

The agency emphasized a strict approach: "There will be no leniency or settlements. We will continue monitoring and file additional complaints for illegal activities." They also urged the public to provide any evidence related to unlawful acts, reaffirming their commitment to protecting the artists' rights.

Upcoming Album Release

Stray Kids is set to release their third full-length album KARMA on August 22 at 1 PM KST (midnight EST). The title track is CEREMONY.
