The film Face (Director Yeon Sang-ho) has unveiled a unique promotional campaign.
Distributor Plus M Entertainment announced that a dedicated website has been opened to collect tips about characters from the film. Visitors are greeted with the message: "We are looking for anyone who remembers Jung Young-hee's face," inviting the public to provide information about the missing character.
Five new clues have also been revealed, including a face-erased ID card, the sign of a factory where she worked, a seal engraved by her husband, a memorial photo, and handwritten notes. These mysterious elements heighten curiosity about the film's plot—who killed Jung Young-hee, and what did her face look like?
Face is a mystery thriller about a master of traditional crafts who is visually impaired and his son uncovering the truth behind their mother's death, buried for 40 years. Actor Park Jung-min takes on dual roles as the young master Im Young-gyu and his son Im Dong-hwan, while Kwon Hae-hyo portrays the present-day Im Young-gyu.
The film is set to premiere in theaters on September 11.
