SEVENTEEN member Jun will appear on the big screen in a Chinese action film hitting Korean theaters next month.
The film Po Feng Chu Ying (directed by Larry Yang) is set to release on September 20 in Korea. The movie is an action-crime blockbuster, depicting a high-stakes chase between a criminal syndicate that steals billions by bypassing advanced surveillance systems and the monitoring team pursuing them.
Promotional posters reveal Jackie Chan (Huang Dezhong) and Yang Jiawei (Pu Longsheng) standing back-to-back in a tense standoff, with Jun positioned behind Yang, playing his adopted son Hu Feng. Jun's role promises sleek and agile action sequences.
Jun started as a child actor, debuting in the 2006 film Wild Dog, earning the Best Newcomer award from the Hong Kong Film Directors' Association. In 2023, he received the Popularity Award at the Busan International Film Festival's Asia Contents Awards & Global OTT Awards for the Chinese drama Du Ge Donghua.
Po Feng Chu Ying will premiere nationwide at CGV theaters on September 24.
