B.O.N.E., Career High in Japan with BOYLIFE, Achieves Record Sales
by. ymchoi

Boy Next Door has set a new personal record on Japan's Oricon charts.

Chart-Topping Success

According to the latest Oricon rankings, Boy Next Door's second single BOYLIFE debuted at number one on the weekly singles chart. Released on August 18, the single sold approximately 346,000 copies in its first week, nearly double the sales of their debut single, which sold around 180,000 copies. This marks the first overseas artist album this year to surpass 300,000 first-week sales in Japan, following Seventeen's Expiration Date.

Youthful Themes and Title Track
BOYLIFE captures the emotions of youth that everyone can relate to, with easy-listening tracks and broadly resonant lyrics. The title track, Count To Love, likens a lover's realistic feelings to the act of counting numbers, with composer Taesan contributing to the work.

Promotions and Appearances in Japan

Boy Next Door will continue promotions through Japanese music shows and special programs. They are scheduled to appear on TBS's CDTV Live! Live on September 1. Additionally, they have been selected as the September pick artist for TV Asahi's music variety show M:ZINE, with special broadcasts planned from September 5 to 19.
