The LA Dodgers shared live footage of V on their official site as he prepared to throw the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the game against the Cincinnati Reds. Before the pitch, V met Shohei Ohtani in the Dodgers' dugout, exchanging greetings, hugging, and taking commemorative photos together.

The MLB office also highlighted V's participation on social media, posting numerous photos and videos with captions noting he was ready for the first pitch. This marked V's first-ever experience throwing a ceremonial pitch.
