Actors Lee Jae-wook and Choi Sung-eun are set to star in a new romantic series.
Plot and Characters
KBS-2TV's upcoming weekend mini-series Last Summer, written by Jeon Yu-ri and directed by Min Yeon-hong, centers on a childhood pair of friends who confront the truths of their first love hidden within a "Pandora's box." Lee Jae-wook takes on a dual role, portraying twins Baek Do-ha and Baek Do-young, separated after their parents' divorce—one in the U.S., the other in Korea. Do-ha visits Korea annually during summer break, spending time at his father's peanut house with his twin, his father's friend's daughter, and forming closer bonds.
Choi Sung-eun plays Song Ha-kyung, an architectural civil servant who harbors feelings for Do-ha. As an adult, she uncovers shocking truths from their past, stirring conflict and emotional intensity.

Last Summer is scheduled to air as the follow-up to Eunsoo's Good Day, premiering in November.
