Singer Daesung has released a new Japanese single carrying a message of comfort for his fans.

New Single 'Umbrella'

At midnight on August 27, Daesung unveiled Umbrella, an alternative rock track that reflects his sincerity through heartfelt lyrics. The song was first introduced during his Japanese concert This Is Me – Encore last December and is also included as a bonus track on his first mini-album D's WAVE.

Artist's Message

Daesung took part in writing the lyrics. He shared, "Just like the line, 'I promise you, I'll be your umbrella,' I hope this song can be a source of shelter for fans, helping them overcome worries and fears."

Performance and Tour

Later today, at 6 p.m. JST, Daesung will release a live clip of Umbrella from his concert stage through his official YouTube channel. He is currently on an Asia tour that began in Seoul in April, with stops in Ho Chi Minh City, Kuala Lumpur, Taipei, Hong Kong, Kobe, Singapore, Sydney, and Macau. The tour will continue in Yokohama on August 30 and Kaohsiung on September 20.
