Musical writer Park Chun-Hyo will share his life in New York on the August 29 broadcast of MBC's reality program I Live Alone. The episode will highlight his daily routine as an 18-year New York resident living alone.
Behind the Scenes of Maybe Happy Ending
Park wrote the lyrics for the original Korean musical Maybe Happy Ending, which won six awards at the 78th Tony Awards. He personally took home three honors—Best Musical, Best Book, and Best Original Score—becoming the first Asian recipient in those categories.
The broadcast will reveal his work on Broadway, from pre-show preparations to his reflections after watching the performance. For the first time, viewers will also see backstage interactions between Park, actors, and staff.
Everyday Life in New York
Beyond the stage, Park will give audiences a glimpse into his personal life. He shares his own ramen recipe and shows his habit of watching Korean variety programs after work.
In the teaser, Park described New York as "my identity" while also hinting at a "ten-year-long occupational habit," sparking curiosity about what he will reveal.
The program airs every Friday at 11:10 p.m. on MBC.
