Miyeon of (G)I-DLE unveiled her growth as a singer-songwriter with the release of her digital single "Sky Walking" on August 28.

A Song for Fans

"Sky Walking" is Miyeon's first self-composed track, created especially for her fandom, Neverland. She shared, "I've been waiting since the first time I performed this song at a concert. I hope it becomes a joyful gift for everyone." She added, "I love Neverland so much and will continue to repay their support with great music."

Musical Style and Visuals

The track falls under alternative pop, blending 1980s-style guitar sounds with synths to create a dreamy yet lively atmosphere. Miyeon's clear and refreshing vocals, paired with trendy melodies, carry a hopeful message of freedom and positivity.

A special clip was also released, featuring Miyeon strolling through the streets of Macau and performing atop high-rise rooftops, complementing the song's vibrant energy with scenic visuals.

Miyeon is currently active as the MC of SBS-TV's global boy group audition program B:MY BOYZ.
