HYBE and Geffen Records revealed plans for their second global girl group, aiming for a debut next year. The new group will consist of four members.
Three Members Confirmed, One Spot Remaining
Three members are already confirmed: Emily Kellabos (USA), Samara Siqueira (Brazil), and Lexi Levin (Sweden). HYBE released an intro film featuring the trio.
- Emily has trained as a professional dancer since age 14 and competed in the final round of The Debut: Dream Academy, the audition program that produced CatsEye.
- Samara, known for her soulful and delicate vocals, placed 7th in the finals.
- Lexi brings both vocal and songwriting skills.
The fourth member will be selected through the audition program World Scout: The Final Piece, airing on Japanese OTT platform Abema next year.
Rising Interest Ahead of Debut
The group's official Instagram account, prelude_thefinalpiece, gained over 160,000 followers within just four days. Industry observers are watching whether HYBE's "multi-home, multi-genre" strategy will succeed again.
CatsEye, their first girl group, achieved Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200 rankings within a year of debut, performed at major festivals like Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025, and will embark on a sold-out solo tour starting this November.
