Singer Lim Young-woong will lend his star power to the K League, taking part in both a ceremonial kickoff and a halftime stage performance.

According to Fish Music on September 1, Lim will appear at the Daejeon Hana Citizen vs. Daegu FC match on September 20 at Daejeon World Cup Stadium, where he will serve as the ceremonial kicker.

Second Kickoff Appearance

This will mark Lim's second time participating in a K League kickoff. He previously took part in the FC Seoul vs. Daegu FC match at Seoul World Cup Stadium in 2023, where the event concluded successfully and drew significant attention.

Halftime Performance and Fan Anticipation

In addition to the kickoff, Lim will deliver a halftime performance of A Melody for You, a track from his second full-length album IM HERO 2. The high-profile appearance is expected to spark intense demand for tickets. His first ceremonial event filled the stadium to capacity, with tickets selling out instantly and reselling at inflated prices.

Upcoming National Tour

Lim is also preparing for his upcoming nationwide concert tour. Starting in October in Incheon, the tour will continue through Daegu, Seoul, Gwangju, Daejeon, and Busan under the theme Sky Blue Festival, expanding his reach to fans across South Korea.
