aespa Proves Their Evolution with Third Solo Concert 'SYNK : aeXIS LINE'
by. ymchoi

aespa showcased their artistic growth and bold experimentation through their third solo concert in Seoul, revealing new music and staging rock-inspired performances for the first time since debut.

The group held SYNK : aeXIS LINE from August 29–31 at KSPO DOME in Seoul, where they delivered a 170-minute show featuring 26 songs, including the full tracklist from their upcoming sixth mini album Rich Man.

A Bold Setlist Shift

Instead of performing familiar hits such as Black Mamba and Savage, aespa unveiled eight brand-new tracks led by the title Rich Man. The concert opened with Armageddon under dramatic laser effects and aerial lifts, immediately highlighting the group's upgraded live vocals and commanding choreography.

Individual Spotlights

Each member took turns on solo stages, presenting distinct musical colors. Karina performed the hip-hop track Good Stuff in a sharp contrast of school uniform styling and fierce choreography. Ningning's Ketchup and Lemonade delivered smooth R&B vibes with emotional depth. Winter impressed with the rock ballad Blue, enhanced by guitar accompaniment and falling petals, while Giselle's self-produced Tornado stood out for its summery energy and personal inspiration drawn from Okinawa.

New Album, New Sound

The highlight came with the premiere of Rich Man, which featured a striking electric guitar-driven sound paired with choreography mimicking money-counting gestures. Additional new tracks, including Drift and To The Girls, offered fans a first glimpse into aespa's evolving soundscape ahead of the mini album's release.

Connecting with Fans

The concert's later half brought back hit singles such as Next Level, Supernova, and Girls, fueling powerful audience singalongs. The members also moved through the crowd on mobile stages during the encore, closing with songs like Forever and Live My Life.

aespa's integration of live band elements, bold rock influences, and fan-centered performances marked the show as a turning point in their artistry, further solidifying their position as one of K-pop's most dynamic acts.
