Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-mi made a surprise appearance in Netflix's new youth romance film The History of Confession, which premiered on August 29.

The movie follows a teenage girl facing the most important confession of her life, only to cross paths with a transfer student who changes everything. Gong Yoo and Jung Yu-mi appear as a married couple running a pub, guiding protagonist Seri (played by Shin Eun-soo) to a spot rumored to guarantee successful confessions.

This is not the first time the two actors have portrayed a couple. They previously starred together in the 2019 film Kim Ji-young, Born 1982 as husband and wife, a performance that received critical acclaim for its realism and chemistry.

The film also features cameo appearances by Jung Yi-rang and Lim Woo-il, who take on small but memorable roles as a school cafeteria lady and a hair salon customer. Despite limited screen time, the cameos bring added humor and warmth, enriching the film's atmosphere.
