NCT WISH has made a comeback with their third mini album, COLOR, released on September 1 at 6 p.m. KST across major music platforms. The record showcases a bolder and more defined musical identity for the group.
The title track, also named COLOR, is an electro-pop song characterized by powerful synthesizers, jazzy chords, and rhythmic shifts in the chorus. Its lyrics convey strong confidence and self-assurance.
The group described the release as "an album that fully embodies NCT WISH's unique color," adding that it would surprise their fandom, NCTzens. Regarding the title song, the members noted, "From the first listen, we were certain this was the one. It's a track that highlights our musical growth."
With this comeback arriving five months after their last release, the group emphasized their determination: "We want to clearly deliver the message that we are painting the world with our own colors. Please look forward to it."
Ahead of the album launch, NCT WISH performed six songs at Japan's largest music festival, a-nation 2025, on August 31, igniting the stage and energizing the crowd.
