(G)I-DLE's Yuqi is officially making her return as a solo artist.

On September 1, Cube Entertainment announced, "Yuqi's single 'Motivation' will be available for pre-order starting today at noon through various music retailers."

Motivation marks Yuqi's very first single release. The physical album comes in a 164-page photobook format and includes a CD, poster, photo cards, bookmark, and special merchandise.

This follows the success of her debut mini album YUQ1, released in April 2024, which sold over 550,000 copies in its first week according to Hanteo Chart—ranking her third among all-time first-week sales for K-pop female soloists.

Her label teased fans with a hint from the upcoming project: "In the teaser, Yuqi asked, 'What's your motivation?'—please look forward to discovering her new musical world."

Yuqi's Motivation is set for release on September 16 at 6 p.m. KST.
