Actress Lee Na-young is making her long-awaited comeback to the small screen with Genie TV's upcoming original series Honor.

Adaptation of Swedish Drama

Honor is a mystery drama adapted from the Swedish series of the same name. The story follows three women lawyers confronting a scandal rooted in their shared past, forcing them to face hidden truths and unresolved wounds.

Cast and Characters

Lee Na-young takes on the role of Yoon Ra-young, a star attorney at the prestigious law firm L&J. Charismatic and eloquent, Ra-young frequently appears in the media as the firm's spokesperson. Behind her polished exterior, however, she struggles with long-buried pain that resurfaces when she encounters shadows of her past.

Joining her are Jung Eun-chae as Kang Shin-jae, L&J's head lawyer and natural leader, known for her commanding presence and shrewd negotiation tactics, and Lee Chung-ah as Hwang Hyun-jin, a bold and action-oriented lawyer unafraid to defy rules when necessary. The trio, friends since their university days, find their deep bond tested by secrets that threaten their present lives.

Themes and Release

The drama highlights solidarity among women while raising moral questions, such as whether there can be a statute of limitations on revenge. Producers emphasized that Honor will go beyond typical courtroom storytelling, weaving together past and present in a suspenseful narrative.

Honor will premiere in the first half of next year on Genie TV and ENA.
