RIIZE has achieved Gold certification in Japan, underscoring their rapid rise in popularity beyond their "rising" label.
First Among 4th-Gen Boy Groups
The Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) confirmed that RIIZE's debut track Get A Guitar surpassed 50 million streams as of July, earning Gold certification. This marks the first time a K-pop boy group that debuted after 2023 has received the honor. The song, released in September 2023 as the title track of their debut single album, quickly gained traction worldwide.
Global Appeal
With its funky sound and playful choreography featuring a signature "guitar strumming" move, Get A Guitar resonated with international fans. The track reached 100 million Spotify streams last year and maintained presence on Melon's overall chart for 15 consecutive months, including its annual chart.
Steady Growth in Japan
RIIZE has steadily built a strong fanbase in Japan. They were named one of the "Best 3 New Artists" in the Asian category at the 38th Japan Gold Disc Awards. Their Japanese debut single Lucky earned Platinum certification for surpassing 250,000 shipments, while their first full-length album RIIZING: Odyssey achieved Gold certification with over 100,000 shipments.
Expanding Global Footprint
Currently, the group is on their first world tour RIIZING LOUD, covering 22 cities worldwide. Their next stops include a three-day run at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Gymnasium from September 13 to 15.
