tvN's You Quiz on the Block (You Quiz) has issued a caution after reports of individuals impersonating the show's production team to collect personal information.
On September 2, You Quiz shared a notice on social media titled "Official Guidance on Similar Interviews," clarifying that these incidents are not connected to the program.
The team emphasized that during street interviews, the production staff only request participants' name, age, and occupation—no additional personal information is ever required. They warned viewers to be cautious of requests for phone numbers or other private data via interviews or direct messages (DMs).
Viewers encountering such suspicious situations are urged to report them through the CJ ENM official website's customer service section.
Official statement excerpt:
Recently, cases have been confirmed in university areas where street interviews claiming to be from You Quiz requested personal information. These are unrelated to the program. The production staff never asks for additional personal data such as phone numbers or addresses. Please exercise caution and report any similar cases via the CJ ENM customer service page.
