Seventeen is introducing a brand-new special unit. Members S.Coups and Mingyu are set to release their first mini album together.

On September 3, Pledis Entertainment unveiled the trailer for HYPE VIBES via HYBE Labels' YouTube channel. The 1-minute-41-second clip, filmed in Los Angeles, captures snippets of the duo's everyday moments, including a lively post-party day filled with new experiences.

A highlight is the beach party sequence, where the two are seen blending into the crowd, dancing freely with their signature carefree energy. The trailer also teases appearances by 3D characters Kute and Mante—alien beings who gradually come to life as they absorb vitality from the people around them.

The album embodies a philosophy of living in the moment without fixed boundaries, expressing the present in colorful and organic ways.

Both members have explored diverse musical avenues beyond group activities—through the Hip-Hop Team, Leaders (S.Coups, Hoshi, Woozi), Wonwoo x Mingyu unit songs, and solo projects.

Meanwhile, Seventeen will reunite with their fans, Carats, at their upcoming world tour NEW_, which kicks off on September 13–14 at Incheon Asiad Main Stadium before heading to North America, Japan, and more.

The group was also recently nominated for Best Group at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
