JYP Entertainment is venturing into the creation of an AI artist, aiming to redefine fan engagement in K-pop.
On September 3, JYP announced plans to develop an unprecedented AI artist, combining entertainment and cutting-edge technology to expand K-pop's global reach.
The project will be led by JYP's tech subsidiary, BlueGarage, which is focusing on global trends among Gen Z and Alpha generations, particularly the growing interaction with virtual entities.
The goal is to create an AI artist capable of calling fans by name and interacting with them in real time. By fusing K-pop identity with advanced technology, JYP aims to deliver a novel entertainment experience.
BlueGarage co-CEO Jeong Min-jong stated, "We will reinvent the essence of entertainment through AI. By combining JYP's expertise in fan engagement with AI innovation, we aim to open a new future for global K-content."
To realize this vision, BlueGarage is recruiting talent across 17 specialized fields, including scenario writing, music production, marketing, 3D modeling, UX design, and LLM development.
