Actor Jinyoung takes on the role of a single father in the Genie TV original drama Good Woman Bu Semi (written by Hyun Gyuri, directed by Park You-young), with on-set photos released on September 3. He plays the character Jeong Dong-min.

Good Woman Bu Semi is a crime-romance drama. Bodyguard Bu Semi (played by Jeon Yeo-bin) enters a contract marriage with a terminally ill chaebol chairman, changing her identity to protect herself from those seeking his inheritance.

Jinyoung's character, Jeong Dong-min, once aspired to be a Taekwondo national athlete but now works as a strawberry farmer. He instinctively senses something unusual about Bu Semi, who disguises herself as his son's kindergarten teacher.

The on-set photos depict Jinyoung performing everyday farming tasks, stacking boxes of strawberries and moving them with a cart, while also showing tender moments protecting his son with a reassuring expression.

A production official commented, "Jinyoung will showcase acting across romance, coming-of-age, and thriller elements. His delicate expressions enhance immersion, and fans can expect a fresh acting transformation."

Good Woman Bu Semi is set to premiere on ENA on September 29 at 10 PM KST.
