Jeon Somi is officially heading to Hollywood. On September 4, The Black Label confirmed that she has been cast in the upcoming film Perfect Girl through a competitive audition.

The movie is a horror-thriller centered on the world of K-pop. It follows a group of trainees competing for debut when a mysterious girl suddenly appears, triggering unsettling events.

The cast includes Arden Cho, who voiced Rumi in Netflix's K-pop Demon Hunters, and Adeline Rudolph, known for her lead role in Mortal Kombat 2. With K-pop as its core theme, the film will also feature six original OST tracks. Directed by Hong Won-ki (Urban Myths), production is set to kick off in Thailand on October 27.

Meanwhile, Jeon Somi recently released her second EP Chaotic & Confused with the title track Closer, continuing her dynamic presence in the music scene.
