BTS has achieved another global milestone as the music video for their digital single Dynamite surpassed 2 billion views.
Big Hit Music confirmed that as of 9 a.m. KST, the Dynamite MV exceeded 2 billion views on YouTube. This marks the first time a BTS music video has reached the 2-billion mark. The video gained 100 million views in roughly nine months, following its 1.9-billion-view milestone last year.
Dynamite is a lively disco-pop track with a catchy rhythm and was BTS' first English-language single, garnering worldwide acclaim. The music video reflects the song's upbeat vibe, blending energetic choreography with scenes of the members enjoying music in a relaxed and vibrant atmosphere.
The track made history as BTS became the first Korean act to top the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart. Additionally, Dynamite surpassed 2 billion streams on Spotify earlier this year, becoming the first single by a Korean artist to achieve this feat.
The song also ranked 34th on Apple Music's "Most Streamed Songs Globally Over the Past Decade," alongside BTS' Butter, the only other BTS track to appear on the list.
BTS is currently preparing for a full-group album release planned for the first half of next year.
