DANN, a member of boy group THE KINGDOM, is set to enlist in the military this month.

GF Entertainment announced on September 4, "DANN (real name Jung Seung-bo, 27) will enlist as an active-duty soldier on September 9. Following guidance from the Military Manpower Administration, his enlistment date has come earlier than expected."

Group to Continue as Five Members

THE KINGDOM had been preparing for their next album, but will now carry on with five members during DANN's service. "We apologize for the sudden news and any concern caused," the agency shared, asking for fans' understanding.

No Public Event for Enlistment

To prevent safety issues, there will be no separate event for his enlistment. "The location and time of his training center entrance will remain private," the agency added.

Future Plans

GF Entertainment concluded, "We ask for your warm support so that DANN can faithfully fulfill his duty and return in good health."

DANN debuted with KINGDOM in 2021. The group rebranded as THE KINGDOM last year and will continue activities with members Arthur, Mujin, Louis, Ivan, and Jahan.
