Taemin of SHINee is set to return with new music.

On September 5, Big Planet Made Entertainment announced, "Taemin will release a special digital single 'Veil' on September 13 at midnight (KST) through major music platforms."

This marks his first comeback in about a year and one month since his fifth mini album 'Eternal,' released in August last year, which topped iTunes charts in 38 regions worldwide.

A teaser image was also unveiled, showing Taemin submerged in water with a glowing blue light around him, creating a dreamy atmosphere.

'Veil' is described as a track that captures an intimate confession caught between desire and fear. The agency added, "Fans can look forward to another side of Taemin as he presents experimental music."

Meanwhile, Taemin will kick off his five-city arena tour in Japan with shows at Kanagawa Pia Arena from September 13 to 15.
