Dayoung will release her first digital single gonna love me, right? on September 9 at 6 PM KST across major music platforms. A teaser video dropped on September 4, hinting at a bold new concept. In the teaser, Dayoung appears in deep shadows under a car's headlight, performing a paired choreography with a male dancer, showcasing a striking and sexy performance.

Solo Career and Unique Identity

Agency representatives said, "Through her first single, Dayoung will present music and performances that reflect her own unique color. She aims to establish herself firmly as a solo artist."

Dayoung has been active with WJSN and the sub-unit WJSN Chocome, known for her bright and energetic presence across variety shows and other content. She has also been recognized as a content creator, starring in her own YouTube series Hot Deal Dayoung and Hot Girl Dayoung, and serving three consecutive years as an MC for KBS-1TV's Early Adopter.

Her agency added, "Dayoung is taking a new step as a solo artist and is expected to captivate audiences' emotions and tastes with her music."
