On September 8, tvN confirmed that its new weekend drama Typhoon Company (written by Jang Hyun, directed by Lee Na-jung) will premiere on October 11. Set in 1997 during the IMF financial crisis, the series tells the story of people striving to protect their place in a collapsing world.
Junho as Kang Taepoong
Lee Junho plays Kang Taepoong, a carefree man from a wealthy family who unexpectedly becomes the president of a struggling trading company. As he faces the harsh reality of the IMF era, he undergoes a dramatic transformation, shifting from self-centeredness to fighting for his company and employees.
First Poster Revealed
The newly released poster shows Junho with retro-styled bridge hair, leaning out of a car window with a confident gaze. The tagline, "Our youth that never broke in those times," hints at the resilient spirit and growth of his character.
