Yuqi of (G)I-DLE is set to deliver a heartfelt love story through her latest song.

On September 9, Yuqi shared the intro film for "It Hurts," a track from her first single album Motivation, on social media. She participated in both writing and composing the song.

Cinematic Storytelling

The teaser stars Chinese actor Wang Anyu. In the film, Yuqi hesitates before signing a solo artist contract and instead clasps Wang Anyu's hand as they run out of the office together.

The clip continues with Wang Anyu's touching narration, revealing his inner conflict over what he can do for Yuqi. With its cinematic visuals, the teaser feels like a short film.
