RIIZE marked their second debut anniversary by giving back in a heartfelt way.
On September 9, the Community Chest of Korea (Love Fruit) announced that RIIZE donated 100 million KRW under the name of their fandom, BRIIZE.
Fans Join the Cause
BRIIZE also joined the effort, raising an additional 4 million KRW through an online QR donation campaign held from September 4 to 7. This collective donation will go toward medical expenses for children from low-income families, including those battling pediatric cancer, rare diseases, or in need of cochlear implant surgeries.
Consistent Acts of Giving
Since their debut, RIIZE have continuously carried out charitable activities. In January, they delivered encouragement and support to underprivileged youth for the New Year. Last June, profits from their fan-created "Rhyme-ticons" merchandise project were also donated in full.
Building a Culture of Sharing
Lee Seong-do, Head of Fundraising at the Community Chest of Korea, praised the campaign as "a meaningful example of artists and fans creating a culture of giving together." He added that the organization plans to expand programs to encourage even broader participation in the future.
