NCT member Haechan has proven his global popularity with the release of his first solo full-length album, "TASTE."
Released on September 8, "TASTE" immediately made waves on domestic and international charts. It reached number one on iTunes Top Albums in 18 regions, including Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, and Russia. Additionally, the album entered the top 10 in 29 countries, highlighting Haechan's presence in markets such as Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, France, Sweden, and Italy.
On local charts, "TASTE" claimed the number one spot on Hanteo and Circle Chart's daily retail album rankings. The title track, "Crazy," also topped Bugs' real-time chart.
"TASTE" reflects Haechan's musical exploration, featuring 11 tracks across R&B, soul, hip-hop, and jazz. The title track "Crazy" blends early-2000s hip-hop-funky rhythms with guitar strokes, portraying the push-and-pull dynamics of a chance romantic encounter. Haechan's rhythmic vocals add dynamic tension to the song.
This marks Haechan's first solo venture since his debut, making him the seventh NCT member to pursue solo activities, following Taeyong, Mark, Ten, Doyoung, Jaehyun, and Yuta.
