Actors Han So-hee and Jeon Jong-seo will meet film fans at the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) through their movie Project Y.

The film, directed by Lee Hwan, was invited to BIFF last month and selected for the "Korean Cinema Today – Special Premiere" section, marking its first screening for domestic audiences. The cast and crew are confirmed to attend the opening ceremony, open talk sessions, and audience Q&A events.

The schedule has been revealed. On October 17, the Project Y team will walk the red carpet at the BIFF opening ceremony on the outdoor stage at the Busan Cinema Center in Haeundae. The following day at 11:30 a.m., an open talk session will be held at the same venue, featuring Han So-hee, Jeon Jong-seo, director Lee Hwan, Kim Sung-chul, and Jung Young-joo.

The film's first screening will take place on October 18 at 1:20 p.m. at CGV Centum City, followed by a Q&A session for the audience. A second screening is scheduled for October 19 at 12:30 p.m. at Lotte Cinema Centum City, with special guest rapper and music director Gray attending.

Project Y is a crime noir story about women who, having nothing but each other, attempt to escape harsh realities by stealing black money and gold bars.

Beyond BIFF, the film was also invited to the 50th Toronto International Film Festival under the "Special Presentation" section, with a world premiere planned on September 11 (KST).

Following its festival run, Project Y will be released in theaters across South Korea.
