Actor Go Hyun-jung recently drew attention for saving a child actor's life during the filming of SBS TV drama Praying Mantis: Killer's Outing.

The child actor Jo Se-ung's mother shared the behind-the-scenes story on social media on September 7. The incident occurred last year on an island in Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do, while filming a flashback scene.

She recalled, "My son ran toward the sea, and a calm wave suddenly swept over him. At that moment, Go Hyun-jung dashed in like lightning and saved him." She added that Go Hyun-jung got completely soaked while protecting the child, leaving the mother in shock and gratitude.

The mother praised Go Hyun-jung's kindness, saying, "Even after filming, she played with him and treated him so warmly. She was like an angel." She also shared that Jo Se-ung remained enchanted by Go Hyun-jung for some time, describing her as beautiful and angelic, and included video footage from the set.

Praying Mantis is a crime thriller that follows a serial killer mother (Go Hyun-jung) and her police officer son (Jang Dong-yoon) as they collaborate on a criminal investigation.
