According to Netflix's official site Tudum (data from September 1–7), tvN's "The Tyrant's Chef" ranked No. 2 on the Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows list. The drama recorded 7.5 million views during the week, with a total viewing time exceeding 58.5 million hours—more than double that of the No. 1 title.

The series entered the Top 10 chart in 73 countries and regions, including South Korea, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Japan, and Singapore, where it claimed the top spot.

Ratings and Popularity Surge

Domestically, viewership continues to climb. "The Tyrant's Chef" premiered with a 4.9% rating and soared into double digits by episode 4, reaching 12.7% with its latest episode 6. It is now the highest-rated tvN drama of 2025 and dominates its weekend time slot. Among the key 20–49 demographic, it also leads with a 4.5% share.

The drama has also become a hot topic across platforms. Good Data Corporation's "FunDex" survey ranked it No. 1 for three consecutive weeks in the combined TV-OTT buzz index.
