G-Dragon has officially launched a legal battle against those spreading harmful rumors and defamatory content online.
Strong Legal Measures
On September 12, Galaxy Corporation announced, "Defamatory posts containing false information, malicious slander, and insults targeting G-Dragon have been continuously posted and circulated. We are actively cooperating with investigative authorities in response."
To strengthen the case, the agency has appointed Yulchon LLC, one of Korea's top four law firms. The company confirmed it is monitoring online communities and social media platforms while collecting evidence, adding that reports from fans are also being utilized.
Zero Tolerance Policy
The agency emphasized that there will be no settlements or leniency for offenders. This includes not only posts mentioning G-Dragon by name but also those using initials, nicknames, or partial references that imply his identity.
"Creating unverified rumors or posting malicious content is a clear illegal act," Galaxy Corporation stated. "We will continue strict monitoring and pursue ongoing legal action to protect G-Dragon."
This move highlights G-Dragon's firm stance on safeguarding his reputation as he continues his Übermensch world tour and various global projects.
