BOYNEXTDOOR delivered a powerful finale performance at the 2025 FIVB Men's Volleyball World Championship opening ceremony, held on September 12 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, Philippines.
As the first Korean act to be named a global ambassador for the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), the group's appearance marked a historic moment. Fans filled the venue with official light sticks and banners, welcoming BOYNEXTDOOR by singing along to Earth, Wind & Fire, the title track from their second mini album HOW?.
Electrifying Stage and Fan Energy
The group kicked off with I Feel Good, the lead single from their fourth mini album, followed by Nice Guy from their third. Their flawless live vocals paired with trendy choreography lit up the stage.
The energy peaked when they performed debut single But I Love You Today and Earth, Wind & Fire. The entire audience stood up, dancing along to the choreography and joining the chorus in a loud sing-along.
Message of Passion and Teamwork
"Thank you for welcoming us with such passion and energy," BOYNEXTDOOR shared on stage. "It's an honor to share our music at this global gathering." They added, "Just like a volleyball team moves with timing and trust, we believe in each other on stage to complete our performance. Both on the court and the stage, passion is what matters most."
Looking Ahead
The group is currently preparing for their comeback, scheduled for October, following the success of their million-selling mini albums and growing global presence.
