IU marked her 17th debut anniversary with a special gift for her fans, UAENA.
Fan Meetup at KSPO Dome
On September 13–14, IU hosted her fan meetup 2025 IU FAN MEET-UP Bye, Summer at the KSPO Dome in Seoul. According to her agency, she wanted the event to feel like a "special present at the end of summer" for her fans.
IU opened the show with her new track Bye, Summer, dressed in a flowing dress that matched the song's atmosphere. She went on to perform hits like Eight, Red Shoes, Blueming, Through the Night, Square, and Heart, showcasing her signature vocals.
A Diverse Setlist and Rare Stages
The setlist also included songs rarely performed live, such as commercial OST A Song of a Thousand Years and drama OSTs Crayon, Marshmallow, and La Mang. Fans were treated to an intimate mix of classics and hidden gems.
IU engaged closely with the audience, responding to costumes and cheers, and even took time to discuss her acting career. She teased her upcoming drama 21st Century Grand Madam, sharing behind-the-scenes photos and insights about her character, Sung Hee-joo.
Gifts and Surprises for Fans
True to her reputation for fan service, IU prepared a variety of gifts including cooling cushions, handheld fans, acrylic stands, keycap keyrings, photo cards, and tattoo stickers. For the encore, she surprised fans by appearing among the audience, singing I'll Be the Audience while making eye contact and shaking hands.
Fans responded with group chants and slogan events, creating a moving atmosphere. On the first night, she sang A Dreamer's Dream of Summer Night as the encore, and on the second night, Autumn Morning.
