RIIZE to Hold Tokyo Dome Concert, Fastest Entry for a K-pop Boy Group
by. ymchoi

RIIZE is set to make history with their first Tokyo Dome performance, marking the fastest-ever entry for a K-pop boy group.

The group wrapped up their RIIZING LOUD tour stop at Tokyo's Yoyogi National Gymnasium from September 13 to 15. During the show, they surprised fans (Briize) by announcing a special edition concert at Tokyo Dome on February 21–23, 2026.

Record-Breaking Milestone

This will be RIIZE's first standalone concert at the iconic venue, just two years and five months after their debut—an unprecedented achievement for a K-pop boy group. Their agency highlighted, "RIIZE has proven overwhelming drawing power not only in Korea but also overseas. This Tokyo Dome performance cements their status as one of the most in-demand acts."

Rising Popularity in Japan

Japanese media outlets including Sankei Sports, Sports Nippon, Sports Hochi, Nikkan Sports, and Daily Sports all spotlighted the announcement, underscoring RIIZE's rapid rise in the market.

The group has already achieved major milestones in Japan. They became the first K-pop boy group debuting after 2023 to earn RIAJ Gold certification with Get A Guitar. Their single Lucky and first full album Odyssey both went on to receive Platinum certifications.

What's Next

Following their sold-out Tokyo shows, RIIZE will continue their world tour with performances at Bangkok's Impact Arena on September 20–21, further solidifying their growing global presence.
