Netflix's upcoming series All Wishes Granted is gearing up to be a "character powerhouse," teasing a unique lineup of quirky roles.
On September 16, the production team unveiled its main cast, featuring Kim Woo-bin, Suzy, Ahn Eun-jin, Noh Sang-hyun, Go Kyu-pil, and Lee Joo-young.
A Genie With a Twist
Kim Woo-bin transforms into Satan Genie, a sharply dressed figure who appears before Ga-young (played by Suzy). Despite his polished look, his clumsy antics—like carrying a flying carpet and a rice bowl—add humor. Suzy's Ga-young, meanwhile, balances beauty with a sharp-edged charisma, creating a compelling contrast.
Colorful Supporting Characters
Ahn Eun-jin plays Mi-joo, a mysterious woman who leaves Seoul's Gangnam district for a six-month stay in a rural village. Noh Sang-hyun takes on the role of Su-hyun, a suspicious landlord who is secretly the Angel of Death, hinting at a long and complex history with Genie.
Go Kyu-pil's character, Saeed, delivers laughs simply by showing up in overalls, later revealing his supernatural ability to communicate with animals as Satan's familiar. Lee Joo-young plays Min-ji, a local dentist and Ga-young's only friend, adding warmth through their friendship.
A Family-Friendly Fantasy Rom-Com
Screenwriter Kim Eun-sook described the series as "a fun, lighthearted, stress-free, and feel-good fantasy romantic comedy the whole family can enjoy." She encouraged viewers to dive in without spoilers, promising unexpected twists and playful character dynamics.
All Wishes Granted follows Genie, a long-unemployed lamp spirit, who crosses paths with Ga-young, a woman lacking emotion. The series premieres on October 3.
