Mnet's survival show Boys Planet 2 has sparked controversy after a teaser video appeared to reveal the final lineup in advance.

On September 15, the show's YouTube channel uploaded the preview for episode 10, which focused on the third elimination ceremony leading up to the finals. Singer Baekho, serving as Planet Master, teased dramatic shifts, saying, "This is the most shocking ranking change yet. In just 10 hours, the Top 8 has shifted."

But the preview seemed to give away too much. A scene showed 16 contestants standing in two rows without any blur or mosaic, fueling speculation that they were the final contenders. Some viewers even claimed the order matched spoilers circulating online from China, suggesting the rankings had been exposed.

The production team quickly realized the mistake and pulled the original video. They later re-uploaded a revised version with the contestants blurred during the crucial scene.

Despite the correction, debate continues among fans. Many expressed disappointment at the editing slip, worrying it could undermine the excitement of the live finale.

Boys Planet 2 will hold its final live broadcast on September 25 at the CJ ENM Studio Center in Paju, where the debut lineup will officially be decided.
