K-pop Demon Hunters (Kedehun) has made history on the Billboard charts, topping both the main singles and albums rankings at the same time.
Billboard announced on September 16 that the film's OST track Golden held onto the No.1 spot on the Hot 100 for a fifth consecutive week. At the same time, the official soundtrack album climbed to No.1 on the Billboard 200, marking its first appearance at the top.
This dual achievement—simultaneous No.1s on the Hot 100 and Billboard 200—is the first for a K-pop project in nearly five years. The last to do so was BTS, when their album BE and title track Life Goes On both debuted at the top in 2020.
Golden is also dominating beyond the singles chart. The track has now ruled the Streaming Songs chart for eight straight weeks, while climbing from No.24 to No.20 on the Radio Songs chart, showing growing momentum across U.S. airwaves.
The Billboard double crown cements K-pop Demon Hunters as a cultural force, highlighting the global resonance of K-pop soundtracks in both film and mainstream music markets.
