Actor Park Bo Gum has been named the new honorary ambassador for Incheon International Airport.
On September 16, the Incheon International Airport Corporation announced Park's appointment, highlighting his role in representing the airport's global image. The ceremony took place the previous day at the corporation's main auditorium, where CEO Lee Hak-jae presented him with a plaque of appointment.
A Representative Face for Korea
CEO Lee praised Park, saying, "It is an honor to appoint Park Bo Gum—an actor recognized for his talent, star power, and warm personality—as our honorary ambassador. We believe he will play a key role in enhancing Incheon Airport's brand value both domestically and internationally."
Global Promotional Activities Ahead
For the next three years, Park will participate in a variety of initiatives to promote Incheon Airport worldwide. These efforts will focus on showcasing the airport's smart services, passenger facilities, and upcoming innovation projects.
Continuing the Legacy of Renowned Ambassadors
Park joins a distinguished list of past and present ambassadors, including soprano Jo Sumi, former figure skating champion Kim Yuna, former volleyball star Kim Yeon-koung, and K-pop group aespa.
With Park Bo Gum as its new face, Incheon Airport aims to strengthen its reputation as one of the world's leading air travel hubs.
