SM Entertainment's male trainees are stepping into the spotlight with their very own reality program.
A Time-Slip Growth Reality
On September 17, SM Entertainment announced that it has partnered with production company Egg is Coming to launch Reply High School, a time-slip concept reality show. The cast includes members of the trainee team SMTR25 alongside several unrevealed SM trainees.
Fifteen trainees will take part: Nicholas, Katsho, Justin, Hyunjun, Woorin, Hanbi, Songha, Kachin, Sadaharu, Tada, Daniel, Haruta, Hamin, Charlie, and Jaewon. Each will be assigned to themed rooms reflecting the culture and vibes of the 1990s, 2000s, and 2010s. Through classes and daily life, the show aims to capture the era-specific emotions while documenting the trainees' journey to pursue their dreams.
Star Production Team Behind the Project
The program brings together PD Shin Hyo-jung and writer Kim Dae-joo, the creative duo behind tvN's hit shows Hyori's Homestay and Youn's Kitchen. Their involvement signals a high-quality production that balances entertainment with heartfelt storytelling.
Rising Future of K-pop
Reply High School is set to premiere on a global streaming platform in the first half of 2026. For SMTR25, the show is another major step in their pre-debut journey. The team first revealed themselves during SMTOWN LIVE 2025 in Seoul, commemorating SM's 30th anniversary, and later appeared at stages in Mexico City, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. They were also introduced on SBS-TV's special K-pop: The Beginning – SMTOWN 30 as the next generation to lead K-pop.
This marks SM Entertainment's first attempt to showcase its trainees through a dedicated reality series, building anticipation among fans eager to see the personalities and potential of its future boy group members.
