Amaru of rookie boy group Kickflip will temporarily step away from activities to focus on recovery.
On September 17, JYP Entertainment announced, "Amaru recently experienced psychological anxiety symptoms and underwent medical consultations and examinations. Doctors advised that he requires sufficient rest and treatment."
Hiatus for Health and Recovery
The agency explained that, after thorough discussions with Amaru and the other members, the decision was made to prioritize his health: "He will be suspending activities for the time being to focus on rest and recovery."
Kickflip will continue promotions as a six-member group. JYP added, "He will not participate in schedules from today onward. Details regarding his return will be shared later."
Agency's Apology to Fans
The statement concluded with an apology: "We sincerely apologize for causing concern to fans. We will do our utmost to support Amaru so that he can return in good health."
