CatsEye has officially broken into the ranks of Spotify's global elite.
According to Spotify's latest tally (August 18–September 14), the group recorded 30,003,843 monthly listeners. Only a handful of K-pop acts have ever surpassed 30 million monthly listeners, making this feat especially remarkable for a group in just their second year since debut.
Explosive Growth on Spotify
CatsEye's rise has been nothing short of meteoric. At the time of their debut EP Soft Is Strong (SIS), their monthly listeners stood at just 8.19 million. With their second EP Beautiful Chaos, the number surged past 25 million, and in just one month, they gained an additional 5 million listeners.
Their streaming power is backed by chart success. Beautiful Chaos has remained on the U.S. Billboard 200 for 11 consecutive weeks, while the track Gabriela climbed to No. 57 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the group's personal best.
From Charts to Festival Stages
Strong metrics are translating into major opportunities. CatsEye is confirmed to perform at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, solidifying their spot on the world's biggest stages.
They've already built momentum with appearances at Lollapalooza Chicago and Summer Sonic 2025 in Japan, winning over massive festival crowds.
International media is also taking notice. Vogue Australia wrote, "CatsEye's ascent symbolizes a new era in pop. They are becoming a blueprint for global pop culture."
Next Steps
Formed through the Dream Academy project, CatsEye continues to expand their reach. They are set to perform at the Grammy Museum on September 18 and will launch their first solo North American tour this November.
