BLACKPINK's Rosé has once again etched her name into K-pop history.
On September 18 at 7 a.m. KST, the music video for APT. officially surpassed 2 billion views on YouTube. The milestone was achieved in just about 335 days, marking the fastest time a K-pop music video has ever reached the 2-billion-view mark.
Rosé is now the first K-pop artist to hold multiple music videos over 2 billion views both as a group member and as a soloist. To date, only five K-pop videos have crossed this threshold: BLACKPINK's DDU-DU DDU-DU and Kill This Love, Psy's Gangnam Style, BTS's Dynamite, and now Rosé's APT.
The track, a duet with Bruno Mars, gained instant global attention upon release. It dominated the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart for 15 consecutive weeks and continues to be celebrated as one of Rosé's signature hits.
Adding to its legacy, APT. earned Rosé the "Song of the Year" award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards on September 8 — the first time a K-pop artist has ever won in that category.
