QWER Files Mass Lawsuit Against Malicious Commenters: "No Exceptions to Legal Responsibility"
by. ymchoi

QWER is taking firm legal action against malicious commenters.

On September 18, the group's label posted an update on their official fan café titled "Progress Report on Legal Measures for QWER," outlining the status of ongoing criminal complaints.

A total of 115 malicious posts have been submitted as evidence in formal complaints. The charges include violations of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (obscene use of communication media). Cases have been transferred to local police stations, with some resulting in guilty verdicts and fines.

The agency stressed its zero-tolerance stance: "For the protection of our artists, we will not accept settlements or show leniency. Legal responsibility will be pursued without exception."

They added, "We will continue thorough monitoring, verification of reports, and consistent legal action to protect our artists. Thank you for your support."

Meanwhile, QWER is set to kick off their first world tour "ROCKCATION" at Olympic Park's Ticketlink Live Arena in Seoul from October 3–5.
