by. ymchoi

Netflix series My Dearest has added another trophy to its growing list of accolades, winning the Grand Prize in the mid-to-long form category at the "2025 New Media Content Awards."

The ceremony, hosted by Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, was held on September 17 at COEX in Seoul. The judging panel praised the series for "expanding regional specificity into universal emotions and showcasing diversity."

Fan Entertainment CEO Park Sang-hyun expressed gratitude: "Thanks to the viewers who loved My Dearest, we are honored to receive this award. We will continue striving to deliver quality projects, and we ask for your continued support."

The series, which premiered in March, depicts the lives of Aesoon (IU) and Gwansik (Park Bo-gum), who grow up together in Jeju, told across the four seasons of their lifetime.

My Dearest has enjoyed both commercial success and critical acclaim. It topped Netflix's Global Top 10 (non-English series) and remained in the rankings for eight consecutive weeks. It also swept major awards, including four honors at the 61st Baeksang Arts Awards and three wins at the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards.

The New Media Content Awards recognize excellence in OTT and digital content, aiming to promote and support innovation within Korea's new media production environment.
