STAYC is officially expanding into the Chinese music market with their first Chinese-language release.
High Up Entertainment announced on the 19th that STAYC has released the Chinese version of their hit single Teddy Bear on major music platforms.
This marks the group's first-ever Chinese track since debut, reinterpreting one of their most popular songs to better connect with Mandarin-speaking fans.
The performance was pre-revealed on stage at concerts in Hong Kong, Taipei, and during the TIMA Macau event, where the Chinese version of Teddy Bear was met with enthusiastic cheers.
The track itself is a pop-punk anthem, featuring STAYC's signature playful wit layered over a bouncy sound. Its core theme, the "hero within" symbolized by a teddy bear, is presented in a youthful and refreshing way.
The agency shared, "Delivering a familiar melody in the local language will allow the heartfelt message to resonate more deeply with fans across the region."
Meanwhile, STAYC is gearing up for their North American tour scheduled for next month.
