ITZY has reaffirmed their bond with both JYP Entertainment and fans, announcing that all members have renewed their contracts ahead of schedule.

A Surprise Announcement at Fan Meeting

On September 20, ITZY held their fourth fan meeting ITZY, MIDZY, Let's Fly! – ON AIR at KBS Arena in Seoul, which was also streamed live online for global fans. During the event, the group surprised fans by revealing that every member had already signed early contract renewals with JYP.

"We decided to renew together as a way of repaying all the love we've received. This decision was made thanks to MIDZY," the members shared, referring to their fandom. They emphasized their gratitude by delivering the news directly to fans first.

Commitment to the Future

ITZY expressed heartfelt emotions, saying, "Seven years felt too short. There are still so many things we haven't done together. Just as we've always done, we've promised to stay by each other's side."

JYP also confirmed the news: "Ahead of their contract expiration next year, ITZY members have renewed early. We will continue to provide full support to strengthen their activities as a top global girl group."

From Rookie Sensations to Global Stars

Since debuting in February 2019 with their digital single IT'z Different and breakout hit DALLA DALLA, ITZY quickly swept rookie awards and rose to fame as "K-pop Performance Queens."
