by. ymchoi

SEVENTEEN's special unit S.Coups X Mingyu is gearing up for their official debut with a listening party that showcased their upcoming first mini album HYPE VIBES.

First Listening Party with Industry Guests

On September 21, the duo held a pre-listening event in Hannam-dong, Seoul, under the theme of "enjoying this very moment together." Fellow artists, including singer-producer Bumzu, attended in support. "It's our first listening party, so we're both excited and nervous," the two shared. "We hope everyone here feels like friends, and when the songs are released, we want you to enjoy them to the fullest."

The event featured the first-ever preview of the full tracklist, starting with the title track 5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman), followed by other songs from the mini album.

Meta Collaboration with Instagram

The listening party also marked Instagram's first offline collaboration event with K-pop artists, highlighting the duo's rising influence. Their pre-release challenge, unveiled on September 19, already surpassed 70 million cumulative views, signaling massive fan engagement.

Album Concept and Release

HYPE VIBES is designed around the theme of capturing the vibrancy of everyday life through music. The project also reimagines elements of the classic Pretty Woman film soundtrack, adding a modern twist.

S.Coups X Mingyu will officially release HYPE VIBES on September 29 at 6 p.m. KST, ushering in a new chapter for the SEVENTEEN unit.
